1. What do i do if my trash can is stolen?

If your trash can is stolen you may call the North College Hill City Center to request a new trash can. They will need you to come into the offices located at 1500 W. Galbraith Road to fill out a stolen report. The only information needed for your stolen report is name and address. Once that is filled out the form will be sent to Rumpke who will process the stolen report. You should received a new trash or recycle can or cart within two weeks.

2. I only want to pay for water service, I do not need trash. Is this possible?

The City of North College Hill requires all residential property owners to have both water and trash service. There is no way of separating the two. In the past there was issues of illegal dumping throughout the City in addition to people hoarding trash in their home and on their property. This measure was adopted for the overall health and safety of the community.

3. Can I Switch out my trash can for a bigger one or smaller one? Also how much is it for an additional can?

Yes, all exchanges of trash receptacles can be handled out of the City Center offices. If you would like an extra can the cost is $3.50 and that invoice will come directly from Rumpke, it is not on your water bill.

4. Do we have unlimited trash?

Yes, there is unlimited trash pick up however if you have large items you must call the City to let them know you have a large pick up. Mattresses will not be taken by Rumpke if the aren't covered. Uncovered mattresses will be left at the curb and could potentially lead to a Code Enforcement complaint.

6. Does upholstered furniture need to be covered in order for Rumpke to pick it up?

Yes.
