The Finance Department is responsible for the fiscal oversight and financial management of the City. Specifically, this includes cash management and investments, risk management, budgeting, and debt administration. Major responsibilities consist of revenue collection and disbursement of funds. Revenue administration and collection includes licensing, fines, fees, utility services and local taxes. In addition, the Department coordinates the centralized computer services for the City's operating departments. The Finance Director is the CIty’s Chief Financial Officer and serves as the City Treasurer as well as Treasurer of the Pension Funds.
