Annual spring fire hydrant maintenance is under way. Crews will be out cleaning, greasing and flowing all of the hydrants in the city. In rare occasions flowing the hydrants may cause discoloration of water in nearby buildings. If your water is discolored run cold water, ideally the shower or bathtub until clear (5 minutes or less).
